Weddings, a wonderful mix of love, nerves, happy tears, and usually a crazy uncle or auntie who spends a little too long at the bar.
At least that’s what happened at my wedding anyway.
My job is to capture your day as it really felt, because in the end, it’s your day and your memories that we’re saving for a lifetime.
The quiet moments before the ceremony when everything suddenly feels very real. The laughs during speeches. The hugs from friends. The moment you both look at each other like “holy heck this is really happening.” I’ll step in when you need it, step back when the moment deserves space, and make sure you look incredible while you get freaking married!
No awkward posing marathons. No turning your wedding into a fashion shoot.
Just real moments, real memories, and just the right amount of wedding-day malarkey to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Some couples want a big celebration.
Others want something quieter. A little more personal. A little more adventurous. A little more shall we say, romantic.
Elopements are about stripping everything back to what matters most — the two of you and the moment you’re sharing together. A more relaxed approach for the couple who don’t need a schedule and the overhead stress that comes with a large wedding.
Elopements give everyone involved space to breathe. Maybe that’s on a mountain, along the Tasmanian coast, or maybe somewhere that already means something to you both.
No big production. No expectations. Just the freedom to celebrate your love your way.
And maybe a little bit of malarkey somewhere in there.
As we all know an engagement is a seriously exciting time. It’s a single moment that starts with a slightly scary four word question. Will you…. I’ll leave the rest for you.
Suddenly there’s a ring, a million messages to respond to and a wedding to plan. But before all the action kicks off, it’s a chance to stop time and truly appreciate the crazy and wonderful fact that chance has led two beautiful people together.
No timelines. No pressure. No audience, if you dont want one.
Just the two of you, somewhere beautiful. Laughing, crying, whatever it may be while you savour the moment and capture memories of a chapter in change.
